Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic

The Agency is an organizational component of the State according to Section 3 of Act No. 219/2000 Coll., on the property of the Czech Republic and its representation in legal relations, as amended. It is established with effect from 1 January 2015 by Act No. 114/1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Protection. Subject of the service office’s activities: Exercise of state administration on the territory of protected landscape areas (PNAs) outside the Šumava and Labské pískovce PNAs, national nature reserves and their protective zones and national nature monuments and their protective zones outside the territory of national parks and their protective zones, land designated for state defence and military confinements to the extent determined by law.
